This Saturday Central Empire Wrestling puts on their final show of 2021.
Off the heels of a successful Bridge City Slam 3, CEW is ready to end the year with a bang.
While this is the final chance for CEW fans to show their favorites some love this year, there is no love lost in the double main event.

CEW Heavyweight Championship Match
“The Unsolved Mistery” JT Energy © vs Jared Thumb
JT Energy is riding high after dispatching Erick Redbeard at Bridge City Slam 3.
The victory over the former WWE Tag Team Champion, was a moment of redemption for the champ.
His emotional high may come to an end Saturday when he steps in the ring with a Jared Thumb hell bent on revenge.
We need to go back to CEW PowerSlam season two to understand why Thumb seeks vengeance on Energy.
Episode three of CEW’s online episodic show during the pandemic, saw Jared Thumb sit down for an interview with CEW General Manager, Jeff Alexander.
Fans got to learn Thumb’s inspirational story about his battle with cancer and journey back to pro wrestling.
It was the definition of a feel-good moment, one quickly soured by JT Energy.
Before Thumb could partake in a match watch-along with Alexander, he was viciously attacked by Energy.
The attack Energy, in his warped mindset, still feels was justified.

“During PowerSlam I saw the outpouring of support for one of the fastest rising new additions to CEW and not enough respect for myself, the current CEW Champion,” Energy said. “This Saturday I plan to not only beat Jared Thumb but hurt Jared Thumb in front of his small circle of family that continue to push this make-a-wish story into deep waters he’s not ready to swim in.”
After the attack, Thumb never got his chance for revenge, his focus shifting to keep the Tag Team Titles with partner Rory Fox.
Saturday, he gets his opportunity in his first ever one on one match with JT Energy.
“Last time we were in that ring JT you broke my thumb and kicked my ass in the season finale of PowerSlam,” Thumb said. “This Saturday I can assure you I am more confident and better than ever. You may see this as easy as can be, but that is why I’m going to hit you with the Thumb Drive, and I will become the new CEW Heavyweight Champion.”
It will be interesting to see if a motivated Jared Thumb will be the one to end JT Energy’s reign atop CEW.

Rory Fox vs Damien Saint
Much like Thumb and Energy’s issues, the feud between Fox and Saint also began at PowerSlam.
In the final episode of season two, Rory Fox was well on his way to becoming CEW Champion.
The former champion was in position to emerge victorious in the triple threat match featuring Energy and Thumb when Damien Saint made his presence felt.
Saint attacked Fox from behind causing for a no contest.
As the show went off the air, Saint stood tall over Fox beginning what has been the most intense feud across CEW all year.

The two waged war in various tag matches throughout the summer, each time Fox and his tag team partner Jared Thumb held on to the tag titles.
Saint even brought in former WWE Superstar Gangrel to try and help him wrest the titles away from Fox and Thumb, but was unsuccessful.
Which brings us to Saturday and what will be their first one on one match to reach a conclusion.
Their first and only singles match ended with interference from Mason Reaper.
Both men are ready to wage war once again.
“You’ve seen through all of your lies and past atrocities. Your reality shows us all that is a fake world, a crushed and hopeless society. Changing will benefit those of following. Mine. As I finally put you to rest. I’ve envisioned the bloodshed... the torment… you will begin your own downfall by not seeing what’s coming. You become eyeless.” – Damien Saint
“Gangrel hit Damien Saint with the Evenflow DDT at Bridge City Slam 3. That’s nothing compared to what I’ll do to him in Oskaloosa. Damien Saint cost me the CEW Championship and I will never forget that. After Saturday night, Damien Saint will never forget Rory Fox.” – Rory Fox
This match has the potential to quickly get out of hand as these two look to settle their feud.

Valentina Loca vs BB Ryan
Another CEW wrestler entering Saturday with an axe to grind is Valentina Loca.
At Bridge City Slam 3 Loca successfully defended her CEW Women’s Championship against Sage Hale.
After the match, Big Bad Wallace, who won an instant ticket opportunity at any CEW Title earlier in the night, came out with Manager Supreme Axel Greece by his side.
The “Excellence of Flexecution” proceeded to cash in his opportunity before pinning Loca’s shoulders to the mat.
It was a reprehensible display that left the CEW fans shocked and disgusted.
But, before she can confront Big Bad Wallace, who is set to debut his newly christened Big Bad Championship Saturday night, Loca will have to take on CEW newcomer BB Ryan.
Making her CEW debut, BB Ryan is a physically dominating performer who will be a stiff test for the veteran Loca.
No better way for her to make a statement than by defeating the former champion.

Curt Gannon vs Ript Studwell
Since missing out at his rematch for the CEW Championship due to an untimely injury, Curt Gannon has been on a mission.
His mission is to be the man who takes the CEW Title away from JT Energy.
At Bridge City Slam 3 he lost out on an opportunity to win a number one contender’s spot after Big Bad Wallace weaseled his way into the title shot of his choosing.
Saturday, the “Suplex Cyclone” will be in a foul mood, which doesn’t bode well for Ript Studwell.
After losing his CEW debut match against Corn Boi at CEW’s last Oskaloosa show, Studwell gets another shot to make a statement.
That may be easier said than done when facing a laser focused Gannon.

TJ Wilt vs The Candyman
At Bridge City Slam 3, TJ Wilt got to live a pro wrestler’s dream.
That night, not only did he wrestle in front of his hometown crowd of Ottumwa, Iowa, but Wilt picked up a victory over Justin Decent.
Riding that wave of momentum from his CEW debut, Wilt enters Saturday looking to push his CEW record to 2-0.
Standing across the ring from him Saturday night will be the Candyman who made his return to CEW at Bridge City Slam 3.
Despite his best efforts, the Candyman along with Koda Jacobs, lost to former WWE and WCW Superstar the Barbarian.
Coming off that loss, the Candyman’s mood will be extra sour like the candies he devours, when he looks to ruin TJ Wilt’s night.
It all goes down this Saturday in Oskaloosa, Iowa when CEW ends 2021 with a night full of grudge matches that will help shape the direction of CEW going forward.
